Prices will no longer increase beginning December 2, 2022! In order to allow flexibility for personal or institutional Ebola concerns, Early Bird Pricing will remain in effect.

ICCC 2023 is pleased to provide participants with a variety of options for lodging at the Speke Resort in Munyonyo. Breakfast is provided as part of your lodging selection. Lunch, dinner, tea breaks, and receptions are part of conference registration and are included if you select registration without lodging. Transportation from Entebbe (EBB) airport will be provided with conference registration.

 

Ground Transportation

Please provide your flight arrival and departure information to organizers using the ICCC2023 Ground Transportation Request Form no later than Friday, December 2, 2022.

Registration Deadline: now January 13, 2022

After January 1, registration can be done on site at the conference and you can make arrangements through the hotel directly or find alternative lodging.

Cancellation Policy

• You may request a full refund until December 1, 2022, less a $50 administrative fee. Please note that exchange rates fluctuate and the amount you are refunded may differ from what you paid if your bank or credit card is not a USD account.

​

• From December 2, 2022 refunds will be issued at only 50% less a $50 administrative fee.

​

• From January 1, 2022 no refunds will be issued.

​

Cancellation Requests

All currently registered participants' registration will carry forward to the 2023 conference unless a cancellation is requested. Please request cancellation through our online form.

Registration Options

5 Nights, Double Occupancy (2 Twin Beds) with ICCC Registration: $1,100 per person

This lodging option provides guests with a room with two twin-sized beds and daily breakfast. When registering, please indicate your preferred roommate. If you do not have a preferred roommate you will be assigned one. If you intend to share a double occupancy room with someone who is NOT a participant in the conference, you may elect to add on a guest registration. Guest registration in a twin room is $700.

5 Nights, Single Occupancy (1 Queen Bed) with ICCC Registration: $1,450 per person

Single occupancy provides guests with a room with one queen sized bed and daily breakfast. If you intend to share a single occupancy room (shared bed) with another conference participant, they should register for Conference Registration Only (no lodging). If you intend to share a single occupancy room with someone who is NOT a participant in the conference, you may elect to add on a guest registration. Guest registration for a single occupancy room is $450.

5 Nights, Cottage Upgrade for Families with ICCC Registration: $3,100

Family cottage package for 5 nights (cottages have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette, and balcony - appropriate for families with 2 or more children).

If another member of your group is attending the conference, please advise them to register for the "Conference + No Lodging" package.

Guests (non conference participants who wish to attend conference meals) may be added at the single occupancy rate for this package ($450/guest).

Guests

Guest registration is optional if you are traveling with family or friends, and it entitles them to all conference meals and receptions; à la carte meals are available that guests can order and pay for directly at hotel restaurants. Guest registration DOES NOT provide access to conference sessions. Please register for the correct ICCC Registration package if you are attending conference sessions.

Guest in single occupancy room (shared bed) = $450

Guest in double occupancy room (individual beds)  = $700

Conference Registration Only

If you are a participant who resides in Kampala or if you wish to find your own accommodations, the conference registration is $900 and includes lunch, dinner, tea breaks, and receptions.

Scholarship Registration

ICCC 2023 is pleased to provide scholarships to participants from low and middle income countries. To be considered for a scholarship, please submit the Scholarship Registration and an abstract by the deadline - only conference presenters will be eligible for scholarships. Scholarships will be determined based on availability of funds by October 15, 2022 and informed at that time via email. We anticipate approximately 15 scholarships to be awarded. If additional sources of sponsorship are made available, this number may be increased. Scholarships will cover the cost of registration and lodging. Scholarship recipients will still need to arrange their own travel to Uganda.

If you are not awarded a scholarship, your scholarship registration will be canceled. You will need to re-register and cover the full costs if you still wish to attend.

Registering

When registering you can register yourself, guests, and other conference attendees. Please select the number of people you will be registering as conference participants and conference guests when you first log-in. You will need the following information to register another person as a conference participant: Name; Institutional affiliation; Department; Title; Email; Mailing Address; optional workshops and excursions; payment.

 

If you wish to split payments please register separately.

Optional Workshops

There will be two optional workshops hosted on Monday, January 9. Options for workshops will be: 1) Genomics, 2) Clinical Care. Please select the workshop you wish to attend when registering. Note that the workshops will be concurrent so you may only register for one.
