ICCC 2023 organizers are pleased to partner with Nature Track Expeditions to offer a variety of safari excursions. Packages must be booked and paid in advance; to book, email Jane.

Please note the new prices for the packages are based on 2023 rates (effective 16 July 2022). Excursion prices are based on 4-person tours.

This 5 day Gorilla Trekking and Queen Elizabeth Safari gives you a chance to get up close and personal with the elusive mountain gorillas of Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - truly a wildlife adventure of a lifetime! 

You will also have a chance to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park - Uganda’s second largest park, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has prolific game, including Gazelle, Uganda Kob, Warthog and Waterbuck, tree climbing lions, elephants, buffalo and plenty of hippopotamus. Itinerary

Murchison Falls National Park - 3 days/2 nights

This 3 Day safari will take you to Uganda’s largest parks known as Murchison Falls National Park, situated in Northwestern Uganda covering an area of 3,840 sq km, gazetted in 1926 as a game reserve. It is classified with Savannah grasslands and the Victoria Nile that flows through separating it into two (the northern and southern bank).

 

Murchison Falls is home to over 451 bird species such as the Great blue Turaco, Goliath heron, the Shoebill, and the dwarf kingfisher among others, 76 mammal species, a big number of Nile crocodiles and above all the magnificent and thunderous Murchison Falls squeezing their way through a gorge that is 8m wide. Take a 3-days Gorilla trekking safari to Bwindi impenetrable forest and savor a thrilling close encounter with an adult male gorilla, known as a silverback, and his troop. Ngamba Island Chimps - Day Trip

Just off the shores of Lake Victoria is Ngamba Island, a tropical paradise and rescue center for Uganda’s chimpanzees. To support the chimpanzees, rescued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority, pay them a visit.

Take a speedboat from Entebbe to this rainforest island; were you can get up-close-and-personal with the primate that shares 98% of our genetics at the pre- arranged supplementary feeding times (11.00 AM & 3.00 PM each day). The ride to the Island is just 45minutes on a speed boat or one and a half hours on the local motorized canoe boat.

 

The Island is also home to a variety of plants and tree species, wild water and forest bird species, beautiful but unique reptile species such as snakes and lizard varieties plus a beautiful lake scenery all available to make your safari a great memory. Itinerary
